Privacy Policy

1. Personal Information Collected

ALIX Education collects the following personal information to provide its services.

• Consultation/Camp application (required): Name, mobile phone number
• Consultation/Camp application (optional): Email, grade, program of interest, preferred instructor, area of interest, referral source, message
• AI chatbot usage: User-input questions, AI-generated responses, session identifiers
• Automatically collected: IP address, browser type, access date/time, navigation path (Google Analytics 4)

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

• Processing camp/program consultation applications
• Automatic SMS confirmation to applicants
• Email notifications to ALIX operators for new applications
• Real-time AI chatbot consultation and answer quality improvement
• Program announcements and schedule updates
• Service usage analysis and improvement

3. Retention Period

Personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection is fulfilled. However, information may be retained as required by applicable laws.

• Camp/program application data: 1 year after program completion
• General consultation inquiry data: 6 months after inquiry resolution
• Chatbot Q&A logs: 1 year (for service improvement, anonymized statistics may be retained)
• Automatically collected data (Google Analytics): GA4 default retention (14 months)

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

ALIX Education does not provide personal information to external businesses as third parties, except in the following cases.

• When the user has given prior separate consent
• When required by law or by investigative agencies

※ Separate from third-party disclosure, essential processing entrustment (Section 5) and cross-border transfer (Section 6) occur.

5. Processing Entrustment

ALIX Education entrusts personal information processing to external vendors as listed below. Each contract requires compliance with privacy protection obligations.

6. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information

In accordance with the entrustment in Section 5, some personal information is transferred overseas. Pursuant to Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the following information is provided.

※ Recipients retain data for the duration of entrustment in Section 5, with deletion upon termination.

If you do not consent to cross-border transfer, you cannot use this service (consultation application, chatbot). This processing is essential to service delivery, and submitting the application form constitutes consent to this policy.

7. Destruction Procedures

Personal information past its retention period is immediately destroyed. Electronic files are deleted using irrecoverable methods, paper documents are shredded or incinerated. Data held by processors (e.g., Airtable) is requested to be deleted in the same manner.

8. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users may exercise the following rights regarding their personal information at any time.

• Right to access
• Right to correction/deletion
• Right to suspend processing and withdraw consent
• Right to request information about processing

Requests can be submitted via the Privacy Officer contact in Section 9. ALIX Education will respond without delay.
